We follow well defined quality standards to ensure that the manufactured products like chain sling, bow shackles, plate lifting clamps, turn buckles meet the relevant industry standards. This includes conducting various quality checks at different levels of production.

We carry out the following tests on our products to assure "Wellworth" quality:-

Incoming Raw Material- Tests are carried out for the wires, Fibrous Core:

• Accuracy of Diameter, in comparison with the Indent.
• Testing for accuracy of completer round shape.
• Tensile test on the UTM machine
• Testing for Zinc coating.
• Cyclic or reverse bend test.

Process Testing - The following tests are carried out during the various production stages

• Maintaining the required strand diameter at each stage.
• Tests to check performing & post forming.
• Checking the pitch length.
• Constant strict supervision for breakage during the stranding operation.

Finished Rope Tests

• Checking the final Overall Diameter of the rope
• Ensuring the post forming accuracy in the final rope.
• Proper lubrication as required in the P.O.
• Breaking load test on the UTM machine.
• Constant strict supervision during the final bunching process thereby ensuring that the rope is totally free from kinks and any manufacturing defects.

Final Testing

• The rope is visually checked thoroughly during the entire coiling process under the packing stage.
• Sample is drawn, marked & labeled and sent for third party tests from Lab. or required authority as per P.O. terms.

We strictly adhere to the IS codes, which have been basically adapted from the BS codes and are internationally acceptable.

In principle IS:2266/02 is followed which is the parent Is code outlining the basic rope standard. Further, a number of IS codes are specified and followed depending on the application of the rope, mainly done industry wise.
