Mechanical Splicing / Hydraulic Pressing - Steel Wire Rope is formed into both ended looped sling and locked using an aluninium compound Ferrule which is further subjected to load under a hydraulic press of suitable capacity exerting exactly the desired load according to the rope Dia. This results in a permanent locked ferrule thereby forming the loop. This procedure is in adherence to IS5245 Party II.
Manual Splicing / Hand Splicing - A sling is locked manually using its own strands interlocked to form a permanent loop. This procedure is in adherence to IS5245 Party I.
